Dear Grails developers,

It looks like the Marshallers plugin (http://grails.org/plugin/marshallers)
is abandoned. I submitted a pull request to make the plugin compatible with
Grails 2.3 (https://github.com/pedjak/grails-marshallers/pull/13) and sent
and email to owner, but he has not replied and the project as not activity
for several months now.

Problem is I need this pull request to be release as version 0.5 to fix the
issue. What do you guys do in these circumstances?

Cheers,
Angel.

Hi Ángel

I have had the same problem with another plugin, and apparently his git
notifications did not get to him. For me it helped to write the author
directly. From the plugin descriptor:

def author = "Predrag Knezevic"
def authorEmail = "***@gmail.com"

def developers = [[name: "Denis Halupa", email: "***@gmail.com"]]

Did you try them?

Hi,

Original developer here.

My apologize for being unresponsive - a lot of load lately on other
sides. I am glad that you were able to patch and publish the version
that works for grails 2.3+, but if you do not mind, I would provide a
patch for the versions before 2.3, and we can publish it as 0.5.2.
Let's not fork the project, I have already several improvements
waiting in my queue.
